Odense Fjord is a spot in Odense Fjord on the north coast of Funen (Fyn). The shallow fjord opens to the north and offers a vast sheltered body of water. Northerly winds enter the fjord well. The very shallow water and flat bottom make it an excellent spot for beginners and flat water freestyle.
Flat to slightly choppy water in the sheltered fjord. Sandy and muddy bottom. Very shallow water (often less than one meter). Ideal flat water conditions for learning and freestyle.

WARNING: Kitesurfing is BANNED in the Næra Strand wildlife reserve (fjord area south of Flyvesandet). Odense Fjord is a BirdLife International Important Bird Area with strict protections. The Røholm islet is a bird sanctuary. Muddy bottom in places. Very shallow water with risk of touching bottom. Strictly respect marked restricted zones.
