Red Bluff is a kitesurfing spot located in East Gippsland, Victoria, near Lake Tyers Beach. This spot gets its name from the red sandstone cliffs that overlook the beach. The 17m altitude offers a spectacular viewpoint over the ocean. The prevailing southwest to west winds blow side-shore on this exposed beach. Conditions are suitable for intermediate to advanced riders with ocean waves and currents. The cliffs can create turbulence effects nearby. Access is via a trail from the parking area at the top of the cliffs. Watch out for rocks at the base of the cliffs and currents. The spot is uncrowded and isolated.
