Overview

Paal 28 / Texel is a North Sea kitesurf spot on the western coast of Texel island, named after beach pole 28. Slightly more sheltered than Paal 33 (northern tip) but still exposed North Sea conditions. Intermediate to advanced level. Wide sandy beach with good wind.

Best with W/NW/SW. Year-round accessible. Texel's west coast offers the best conditions for intermediate riders on the island — less extreme than the northern tip. Good wave potential. Access by ferry from Den Helder (TESO, 20 min). On island: car or bike to west coast.
