Al Thakhira Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the northeast coast of Qatar, near Al Khor. The spot is bordered by mangroves and offers a shallow body of water with a preserved natural environment. The northwest Shamal blows regularly in winter. The body of water is very shallow with a sandy and muddy bottom. The mangroves provide a unique setting. Spot suitable for beginners thanks to the shallow depth.
