Turners Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the north coast of Tasmania, between Devonport and Ulverstone. This beach offers sailing conditions in the waters of the Bass Strait. The prevailing wind comes from the west to northwest in summer. Waves are moderate and the bottom is sandy. The beach is accessible and offers good space for kitesurfing. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The water is cold, a thick wetsuit is required. Turners Beach is a small village with parking, basic amenities, and a few shops.
