Hel Plaża Południowa (south beach) is the spot located at the tip of the Hel Peninsula, on the Puck Bay side. The town of Hel marks the tip of this unique peninsula in Europe. The spot offers flat water in the bay, with progressive depth. It is a good spot for intermediates, slightly more wind-exposed than the spots further west on the peninsula due to its position at the tip. Hel is also known for its fokarium (seal protection center) and its lighthouse. The town offers an end-of-the-world atmosphere with good fish restaurants and lively nightlife in summer.
