Wasaga Beach 1 is the eastern end of Wasaga Beach, the world's longest freshwater beach (14 km). The beach faces north on Georgian Bay. This is the most popular and developed section of Wasaga Beach.
Beach Area 1 is the busiest zone with shops, restaurants, and parking. Same beach as Wasaga Beach 533 (central section). North winds offer the best conditions. In summer, ride outside the heavily used swimming areas.

Georgian Bay facing north. Freshwater, moderate chop. Sandy bottom, very gradual depth — standing depth far out. Water 17-21°C in summer. Large riding area on this 14 km beach.
Extremely popular area in summer — thousands of swimmers. Strictly respect marked zones. Paid parking, often full on summer weekends. Prefer riding early morning or on weekdays.
