Kitesurfing spot in Gentilly, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, in the Centre-du-Québec region. The site is between Bécancour and Deschaillons-sur-Saint-Laurent, near the former nuclear power plant.
The river offers a good water body at this location, with interesting fetch from north and northwest winds. The relatively low south shore allows winds to cross without too many obstacles. Spot appreciated by local kitesurfers. Season from June to October.

St. Lawrence River current — watch for drift. Commercial shipping in the main channel, do not cross. Rocks and shallows possible near shore. Recreational boat traffic in summer. Floating debris possible after floods.
