Glyngøre is a spot on the northwest coast of the Salling peninsula, in the Sallingsund — one of the deepest parts of the Limfjord (24 m). The spot works in W and N winds (onshore to side-onshore). Caution: SW wind can become extremely strong in this area. Suited for freestyle, slalom and freeride.

Good sailing conditions in the Sallingsund. Greater depth than most Limfjord spots (up to 24 m). Moderate chop to short waves in strong winds. Bottom deepens more quickly than elsewhere in the Limfjord.
SW wind can become extremely strong — caution for beginners. Greater depth than other Limfjord spots — less margin for error. Currents possible in the Sallingsund.
