This spot is located in Blagoveshchensk, capital of Amur Oblast, on the Zeya River near its confluence with the Amur River. The city sits on the Chinese border, directly opposite Heihe (China).
The Zeya River water body is wide and offers enough space for riding. The bottom is sandy. Freshwater is relatively warm in summer (18-24°C) compared to coastal spots of the Russian Far East.
Prevailing winds come from the south and west. Season runs from June to September. The spot suits intermediate riders. Watch out for river currents and river traffic.
