Wanapum State Park is a kitesurfing spot on the Wanapum Reservoir (Columbia River) in central Washington State, near Vantage. This state park offers access to the vast reservoir surrounded by the spectacular desert landscape of the Columbia Basin. The basalt cliffs of the Vantage Columns overlook the site. Thermal winds channeled through the Columbia Valley provide reliable conditions in summer. Wide body of water with flat water.
