Cle Elum Lake is a mountain kitesurfing spot in the Cascades of Washington State, at 690m elevation. This reservoir offers an alpine body of water surrounded by conifer forests and mountain peaks. Valley winds channeled along the lake provide rideable conditions. Lake water is cold year-round due to altitude and snowmelt feeding. Spectacular natural setting about 1.5 hours from Seattle via Interstate 90.
