IBO Island Sand Spit is a kitesurf spot located on Ibo Island, in the province of Cabo Delgado, in northern Mozambique. This sand bank offers an exceptional flat body of water at low tide, in a historic and preserved setting. Ibo Island is part of the Quirimbas Islands. The southeast trade winds blow from May to October. Access is isolated and by boat only. Spot suitable for intermediate level riders.
