Overview

Bernières-sur-Mer is a kitesurf spot on the Côte de Nacre (Calvados), on the historic Juno Beach D-Day landing site (NB sector) between Courseulles-sur-Mer and Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer. The north-facing beach catches the classic onshore winds: North-East and North-West.

Tidal spot with a sandy beach. The Juno Beach Centre commemorates the Canadian D-Day landing of June 6, 1944. Respect designated zones during the busy summer season. A historically significant spot on the Calvados D-Day landing beaches.
