Tejas is a kitesurf spot on Lake Ray Roberts, a large reservoir in Denton County north of Dallas. This launch point is located on the west shore of the lake, offering good exposure to prevailing south and southeast winds. Tejas Park features a boat ramp and open lakeside areas for rigging and launching kites. Lake Ray Roberts is known for its reliable wind conditions and regularly attracts kitesurfers from the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
