La Paloma is a kitesurfing spot in the Rocha department, on Uruguay's Atlantic coast. This popular beach resort offers several beaches suited for kitesurfing, including Playa La Aguada with its varied conditions.

Prevailing winds come from the south and southeast (Sudestada), with speeds of 15-25 knots. The season runs from October to April. The ocean offers waves and chop.

The spot suits intermediate riders. La Paloma is a family beach destination with good tourist infrastructure and an iconic lighthouse.
