Airborne Kite & Surf is a kitesurfing center located on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, between Paje and Jambiani. The spot faces east onto the Indian Ocean and benefits from the southeast trade winds during the Kusi season (June to October). The coral reef creates a flat water lagoon at low tide, perfect for learning and progression. The tide is essential: at low tide, a huge flat playground is revealed. The spot is ideal for beginners with warm, shallow waters and consistent wind.
