Anderson's Inlet is one of the best kitesurfing learning spots in Gippsland, with safe conditions and a welcoming environment. Dominant southwest winds blow consistently on the inlet, offering reliable conditions in summer. The water is protected from ocean waves, with shallow depth allowing you to touch the bottom almost everywhere. At low tide, large sandbars emerge, creating easy launching areas. Inverloch is a small seaside town with shops, restaurants and accommodations. Parking is available near the inlet. Watch out for tidal currents at the inlet entrance and wildlife protection zones.
