La Isla del Kite is a kitesurfing spot located on the Cabra Corral dam, in the Salta province, in northwestern Argentina. This spot is on an island or peninsula of the reservoir, offering a unique sailing point at over 1000 m altitude. Thermal winds pick up mid-morning and intensify in the afternoon, channeled by the valleys. The water offers flat conditions with an impressive mountain backdrop. Suitable for intermediate riders.
