Overview

Quend Beach is a kitesurf spot near Quend-Plage (Somme), on the Picardy coast between the Authie and Somme bays. This wide sandy beach is part of the productive stretch of coastline running from Berck to Fort-Mahon, exposed to the dominant South-West to West and North-West Channel winds.

Large tidal range with vast flat sandy areas at low tide. Quend-Plage is also a popular land sailing and kite buggying destination. A well-organised local kite spot with good infrastructure.
