Flaretys is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, on Spencer Gulf, near Point Turton. The spot offers sailing conditions in the gulf waters. The dominant wind comes from the southwest in summer. The waters are shallow and relatively calm. The bottom is sandy. The spot is lesser known and less crowded than neighboring spots. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Little infrastructure on site, access via rural roads.
