Hardwicke Bay is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, on Spencer Gulf. This shallow bay offers calm sailing conditions in a pristine natural environment. The dominant wind comes from the southwest in summer. The bay is very shallow with significant tidal flats at low tide. The bottom is sandy. Conditions are ideal for learning and flat water freestyle. The best season is from November to March. The spot is suitable for beginners. Hardwicke Bay has a campground and basic amenities. Watch out for large depth variations depending on tides.
