This spot is on Liepāja Lake, a large freshwater lake just east of the city of Liepāja in Latvia. The access point is near the bird observation pier (putnu laipa).

The lake offers perfect flat water conditions for learning and freestyle. The water is fresh and shallow. All wind directions work thanks to the large surface of the lake. The lake is an ideal alternative to the sea in easterly winds.

The spot is easily accessible from Liepāja. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits beginners.
