Getingberget is a lake kitesurfing spot located in inland Sweden, at 43 metres altitude. The spot is near Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden and the third largest in Europe. Lake Vänern offers an immense body of water with considerable fetch. In strong winds, significant waves can form. Southwest and west winds are the most frequent and cross the lake well. Getingberget is a spot for intermediate and advanced riders due to the size of the lake and potentially challenging conditions.
