Overview

Cherepaha (The Turtle) is a kitesurfing spot in Amursky Bay, northwest of Vladivostok, in Primorsky Krai. The name refers to a characteristic turtle-shaped rock or coastal formation.

The spot offers a water body in Amursky Bay with relatively sheltered conditions. The beach allows proper kite launching. Bottom is sandy to muddy.

Prevailing winds come from the south and southeast in summer. The bay channels monsoon winds. Season runs from June to September. Water is cool (14-22°C), wetsuit recommended. Spot suited for intermediate riders.
