Hilton Head - South End is a spot at the southern tip of Hilton Head Island, facing the Atlantic and Calibogue Sound. This south end of the island offers more exposed conditions with good waves and tidal currents. The beach is less crowded than the north side of the island, offering more space. The spot is near the famous Harbour Town lighthouse. Conditions can be more challenging due to currents at the confluence of the sound and ocean.
