Užava is a coastal village on Latvia's west coast, between Ventspils and Liepāja. The beach is known as one of the wildest and most preserved in Latvia.
The long sandy beach faces west towards the Baltic Sea. West and south-west winds are most favourable. The bottom is sandy. The area is very undeveloped and offers an exceptional natural setting.
Užava is an isolated spot with very few services. Access is via a country road. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits intermediate to advanced riders due to isolation.
