Kings Beach is the main beach of Port Elizabeth, located in the city centre facing Algoa Bay. This long golden sandy beach is one of the most famous in South Africa. It faces southeast and benefits from direct SE wind exposure. Convenient urban spot with reliable conditions. PE is nicknamed "Windy City" for its reliable wind.
The spot works with SE to SW wind. Vast sandy beach. Beach break. Rideable at all tides. Respect kite riding zones — many swimmers. Best from October to March.

Southeast wind blows directly onshore to side-onshore. One of the windiest PE spots. Strength of 15-28 knots in summer. SE thermal picks up late morning.
