Charles Daley Park sits on Lake Ontario's SOUTH shore in the Niagara region (Lincoln municipality), between St. Catharines and Grimsby. The beach faces north with over 50 km fetch across the lake. One of the few spots on the Ontario south shore.
Regional park with parking. Beach access via a sloped trail. North and northeast winds are most favorable — they blow onshore here, unlike Toronto spots.
Lake water facing north. Freshwater, sustained chop in north winds (long fetch). Rocky and gravelly bottom — booties recommended. Moderate depth near shore.
