Kitesurf spot on the east coast of Cap-aux-Meules island, in the Pédalo area. This beach offers access to the Gulf of St. Lawrence with an eastern exposure. The spot works particularly well in east to northeast winds, offering clean side-shore to onshore wind. Sandy bottom with direct beach launch.

Open water on the east side of the Gulf. Chop to waves depending on wind strength. Sandy bottom with progressive depth. Water is cold even in summer (12-16°C), 4/3 wetsuit minimum. In easterly swell, waves can form along the coast.
Coast exposed to easterly swells — conditions can build quickly. Coastal currents possible. Cold water all season. Cliffs and rocks possible at beach edges. Relatively isolated area.
