Compost Beach is a spot on the south shore of Gull Lake, named by the local kite community. From the south shore, northwest winds arrive as onshore, offering safe conditions. The 10 km fetch generates good chop. Season from June to September.
Fresh water. Temperature of 19-22°C in summer. Muddy bottom. Good fetch with north winds. Less crowded area than the north shore.
