Bauminsel is a spot on Neusiedlersee, located between Weiden and Podersdorf on the eastern shore. The name refers to a group of trees visible from the water that serves as a landmark. The lake is very shallow with a flat bottom, offering safe conditions. The prevailing north-west and south-east winds cross the lake unobstructed. Good spot for beginners and intermediates.
