Taussat is a kitesurf spot on the Bassin d'Arcachon (Gironde), on the north-east shore near Audenge. This inner basin beach catches the dominant South-West to North-West winds in the sheltered bay. Flat water conditions.

Tidal spot with large tidal range. A quiet and relatively uncrowded spot on the north-east shore of the basin, away from the busier Arcachon town area. Good for flat water riding and learning. Respect oyster farm zones and navigation rules.
