Gravelines is a kitesurf spot near the town of Gravelines (Nord), on the flat North Sea coast between Calais and Dunkirk. The beach faces north and catches the dominant South-West to West and North-West winds typical of this open and exposed coastline.

Large tidal range with a flat sandy beach. The area is very exposed with consistent winds. Note the proximity of the Gravelines nuclear power plant — respect any restricted zones along the coast.
