Satzung is a snowkite and kitesurfing spot located in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) in Saxony, at 867 meters altitude. It is one of the highest spots in Germany, offering reliable winter conditions with good snow cover for snowkiting. In summer, the site can also be used for landkiting on the vast mountain meadows. Prevailing west and southwest winds are enhanced by the terrain effect, providing consistent and sustained conditions throughout the year.
