Long Point is a kitesurf spot on Lake Pepin, Minnesota side. Lake Pepin, a 35 km natural widening of the Mississippi, offers excellent fetch. Long Point provides good water access with a promontory allowing riding in various wind directions. Spectacular Mississippi Valley setting. Season from May to October.
Freshwater with chop in sustained winds. Light Mississippi current. Moderate depth. Sandy bottom. Water warms in summer.
