Constance Bay is a village on the Ottawa River, 30 minutes west of Ottawa. The spot is on a widening of the river forming a large bay. The sandy beach faces north toward the river and Quebec. Quieter alternative to Britannia Beach for Ottawa riders. NW wind crosses the river unobstructed.
Ottawa River fresh water. Flat to choppy. Sandy bottom. Moderate fetch in the bay. Warm water in summer (20-24°C). Light river current. Progressive depth.
