Constance Bay is a village on the Ottawa River, 30 minutes west of Ottawa. The spot is on a widening of the river forming a large bay. The sandy beach faces north toward the river and Quebec. Quieter alternative to Britannia Beach for Ottawa riders. NW wind crosses the river unobstructed.

River current — do not drift east. Boat traffic (boats, jet-skis). Swimming zone in summer. Sudden thunderstorms. Flood zone in spring (the Ottawa River frequently floods).
