Katy Rybackie is a village located on the Mierzeja Wislana (Vistula Spit), between the Vistula Lagoon and the Baltic Sea. It is a kitesurfing spot on the lagoon, offering flat water conditions. The Vistula Lagoon (Zalew Wislany) is a vast shallow body of water (average depth 2.7m), ideal for kitesurfing. The bottom is sandy and the water is shallow near the shores. The spot works well with southwest to northwest winds. Katy Rybackie is an authentic fishing village, offering a peaceful setting for sailing. It is an interesting alternative to the Hel Peninsula spots.
