South Bowl is a kitesurf spot on the Laguna Madre side of North Padre Island, south of the Whitecap Beach community. The spot offers access to the shallow Upper Laguna Madre flats, with flat water protected from Gulf swell. This area is less crowded than spots further north like Bird Island Basin, offering more privacy. The sandy bottom and shallow water make it a good spot for progression.
