Powell Beach is located in Summerland, on the west shore of Okanagan Lake. The spot provides lake access where it starts narrowing toward Penticton. Sand and pebble beach in a peaceful setting. The southerly thermal wind is regular in the afternoon during summer. Summerland is known for its vineyards and research orchard.
Fresh water. Flat to choppy water. Sand and pebble bottom. The lake is about 3 km wide — decent fetch. Warm water in summer (18-22°C). Progressive depth.
