Powell Beach is located in Summerland, on the west shore of Okanagan Lake. The spot provides lake access where it starts narrowing toward Penticton. Sand and pebble beach in a peaceful setting. The southerly thermal wind is regular in the afternoon during summer. Summerland is known for its vineyards and research orchard.
