Playa de Rodiles is one of the most famous surf breaks in Asturias — a shapely rivermouth break at the Ría de Villaviciosa producing clean left-handers. Primarily a surf spot. Kiting is not particularly welcome at the peak lineup. A headland blocks NE winds, while other directions don't work well. Sandy bottom, powerful hollow waves. Expert for kite if conditions allow. Beautiful natural estuary setting.
