Gorliz is a sandy beach on the Basque coast northwest of Bilbao. Wide beach with NW-W swell. NE-N wind cross-onshore. Less intimidating than Sopelana — more family-friendly. Sandy bottom, beach breaks. Intermediate. Good infrastructure — parking, restaurants, surf school. Popular summer beach.
