A Lanzada is one of Galicia's most famous kite beaches, in Sanxenxo on the O Grove peninsula. Long sandy beach facing west, exposed to full Atlantic swell. NW and SW winds, 15-25 knots. Best in autumn and winter — epic wave kiting. Summer is regulated (swimming zones) and less windy. Strong currents in windy conditions. April-October for thermal, autumn-winter for storms.
