Overview

Praia dos Salgados is between Albufeira and Armação de Pêra. Long sandy beach next to the Salgados lagoon (birdwatching area). South-facing, works with SW-W winds. Similar to other central Algarve south coast spots — offshore in summer Nortada, kitable on SW wind days and winter swells. Sandy bottom, intermediate.
