Monte Gordo is the easternmost kite spot in the Algarve, near the Spanish border. This wide sandy beach works best with Levante (east wind) from Tarifa — when it blows, conditions can be excellent with side-onshore wind and some waves. A great alternative when the rest of the Algarve has no wind.
Popular seaside resort town with all amenities. The beach stretches east to the Guadiana river mouth (Spanish border).
