Sete Cidades is one of the most extraordinary kite spots in the world — a volcanic crater lake on São Miguel. You literally kitesurf inside an ancient volcano! The twin lakes (green and blue) sit at 260m altitude within the Sete Cidades caldera. Flat water, protected from ocean swell — perfect for beginners and light wind days when the coast is too rough.
