Mamaia is Romania's most famous seaside resort, located on a narrow strip of land between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol, north of Constanta. The kitesurfing spot is on the sea-side beach, with fine sand and open waters. Prevailing winds are from the northeast and east. The spot gets quite busy in summer due to beach tourism. Kitesurfers should be careful of swimmers during high season. Intermediate level recommended.
