Overview

Luz is a pretty beach resort near Lagos. Small sheltered bay with sandstone cliffs. South-facing — works with SW-W winds. In summer the Nortada NW is often offshore. Small waves, sandy bottom. More of a holiday beach than a dedicated kite spot. Wingfoil possible in light winds. Close to the famous Ponta da Piedade rock formations.
