Praia de Alvor sits on the east side of the Ria de Alvor lagoon, complementing the Lagos side. Similar conditions to Meia Praia — Nortada NW winds, some chop on the ocean side. The charming fishing village of Alvor is nearby with restaurants and bars.

The lagoon entrance between Alvor and Lagos offers flat water riding at mid-high tide. Easy access from Alvor town.
