Overview

Lumley Beach is the main kitesurfing spot in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. This large urban beach faces the Atlantic Ocean and benefits from southwest monsoon winds during the rainy season and the northeast Harmattan during the dry season. The oceanic water with tides is suited to intermediate riders.
